Future Credit Affiliate Programs

With all the hubub over the economy and the mortgage crisis, many affiliates are wondering about the future of financial, debt, loan and credit card affiliate programs. There is the possibility that more federal legislations will impact the credit industry and how such products and services are marketed. If legislators continue on the path of thought that the credit industry mainly targets and preys upon bad credit people, some forms of credit marketing may disappear altogether... somewhat like how cigarette advertising was pulled from television advertising in the 1970s to prevent appealing to children innocently watching TV shows. What does this mean to affiliates and the entire marketing industry? The answer is: "Don't put your eggs all in one basket"According to Virginia Evans, Pulsar Marketing Inc Director, "Now; more than ever, is an important time for affiliates to diversify their revenue streams, particularly those affiliates who's websites do indeed target subprime credit consumers."Given the fact that it can take up to six months before getting indexed by a major search engine and receiving a viable page ranking, it's not wise to wait until after federal regulations have eliminated your credit marketing revenue before you start a new revenue stream.Don't be mistaken... Pulsar Marketing is not withdrawing from credit marketing, we simply want to alert affiliates that they'll need to be ready for possible changes that could impact their credit-related revenue. But what non-financial product or service should credit affiliates consider as a secondary revenue stream? That's going to be a tough decision, considering that if regulations do stifle credit marketing, it will likely also affect the availability of credit. Thus how will cash-strapped, bad credit people make purchases; without credit cards, while their incomes and savings are at all time lows? What are the products and services that are certain to endure a recession? The basic necessities of life are always the best bet, if you can find one that is not too saturated. Yet even despite a poor economy and rising costs, people still want their fun and entertainment. In the past; however, when they couldn't afford fun and entertainment they simply charged it on their credit cards. But; once again, that avenue may be closed to them. One thing is for certain; even if the credit industry suffers major federally mandated marketing changes, people will still be stuck with their current debt. Hence, credit affiliates may still be able to earn revenue by targeting consumers seeking debt relief products and services. But what if regulations stifle that channel as well?"Launch a new website that targets a non-financial category, but don't dump your credit website," warns Theresa Murphy, Pulsar Marketing President. "No matter how stifled internet credit marketing becomes, keep your current websites because one day the circumstances will change and you don't want to have to reclimb search engine ranks."What type of new website should you start?Stick to the basics of branching out into an area that interests you, which you have knowledge about (so you can develop plenty of content), and which have competitive affiliate program offers.

BOO! Early Commission Payout!

Dear Affiliate,Surprise! Pulsar Marketing Inc., in appreciation of YOU, has released September's commissions ahead of schedule.Today, all Debit cards should be loaded by the end of the day, and we posted check payments today as well for the few affiliates (you know who you are) who are still receiving snail pay.BOO-BOO! Goblins got into our software and made a 'Boo-Boo' of commission records. Instead of clearing out last month's commission payments, the software re-added those commission totals to this month's earnings. Hence, even though our Control Panel reflects payments twice, your correct earnings are still reflected in your "Due" column. Also, you can rest assured that this ghastly-glitch won't result in an inaccurate 1099 for this tax year, because 1099s are totaled by 'actual payments'.As always, we thank you for being a VIP (Very Important Pulsar Partner), and we hope this early release of commissions will help you keep goblins at bay.Pulsar Marketing Inc
